Gistlover had reported earlier that Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh is dead. A report monitored on The Nation by Gistlover Nigeria, says Ada Ameh died on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Warri, Delta State, southern Nigeria.
This online news platform understands that Ada Ameh who was known for the movie series, ‘The Johnsons’, collapsed and died around 11 pm on Sunday.
Gistlover recalls that Ada Ameh had on June 15 opened up on her battle with mental health. She had said the issue was gradually taking her life but she believes that she will not die and will get over it.

“Everything is going to be fine, I have an issue right now and it’s taking my life. I no go die, we will get over it”, posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
”I was given a job, I didn’t do the job because I had mental issues. Will people understand? They are slamming me with a bill, suing me. It’s okay,” she said in tears on the said day.

Ada Ameh has never been married. She, however, had her one and only child Aladi Godgifts when she was 14 years old. The actress described her daughter as her best friend and sister. Unfortunately, Ada lost her precious daughter on October 20, 2020.

Ada Ameh was born on May 15, 1974 in Ajegunle, one of the local and poorest regions in Lagos State. There is no information about her parents. What is known is that she was from Benue State. Ada’s language was Idoma; however, due to her stay in Lagos since her childhood, she spoke Yoruba fluently.
