Brandon Lake, born Michael Brandon Lake on June 21, 1990, in Dallas, Texas, is a Grammy Award-winning American Christian worship singer, songwriter, guitarist, and worship pastor.
He grew up in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where his father was a pastor, and developed a passion for music early on. Lake began his music career with the independent release of his debut album, Closer, in 2016.
He gained prominence after joining Bethel Music in 2019, releasing notable works like House of Miracles (2020) and Help! (2022). In 2023, he released Coat of Many Colors under Provident Label Group, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.
Lake is known for his collaborations with Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music, contributing to hits like “Graves into Gardens” and “Talking to Jesus.” Beyond music, he co-authored a children’s book, Little Lion Lungs, with his wife, Brittany, aiming to teach children about gratitude and worship. The couple resides in South Carolina with their three sons and embraces a family-oriented lifestyle that includes farming.
