Ceccy Twum, born Ceccy Abena Ampratwum on November 13 in Accra, Ghana, is a renowned Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer and songwriter. She began her musical journey with the release of her debut album, Me Gyefo ne Yesu, in 2005, which catapulted her into the limelight.
Over the years, Ceccy has released several albums, including Meko M’anim (2008) and Golden Oil (2013), and has collaborated with notable artists such as Joe Mettle, Nathaniel Bassey, Sinach, and Mercy Chinwo. Her hit singles like “Jehovah,” “Di Wo Hene,” “Your Grace,” and “Amen” have earned her recognition and numerous nominations, including at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the African Gospel Music & Media Awards.
In 2021, she released the single “His Name is Jesus,” further solidifying her place in the gospel music scene. Ceccy Twum is also known for hosting the annual “Gold Worship” event, bringing believers together for powerful worship experiences. Beyond her music career, she is married to Prophet Alex Twum, and they have three children.
