Chileshe Bwalya is a distinguished Zambian gospel singer and songwriter, celebrated for her soulful voice and spiritually uplifting music. Born in Kitwe and raised in Lusaka, she began singing at the tender age of three, nurturing her talent through school choirs and performances. Her formal ministry commenced in October 2012 when she joined the Miracles By Fire (MBF) ministry, marking a pivotal turn in her musical journey.

In 2015, Chileshe released her debut album, Talitha Cumi—an Aramaic phrase meaning “Little Girl, Arise.” The album, produced by Ikonik Studios and Ben Blazer, features 12 tracks that delve into themes of resurrection, healing, and restoration. It achieved significant acclaim, topping the Sounds Top 20 local music chart in Zambia.

Her subsequent projects include the two-part album series God In The Details. Part 1 garnered over 1.7 million streams across various platforms, while Part 2, featuring collaborations with artists like Tbabz, includes tracks such as “Umweo,” “Mpokololeni,” and “Surrent (Naitula)”.

One of her most notable songs is “Paka Tumyumfwe” (translated as “Till We Hear Your Voice”), a collaboration with fellow gospel artist Ephraim. The song has resonated deeply with audiences, showcasing her ability to blend traditional Zambian musical elements with contemporary gospel sounds.

Beyond her musical endeavors, Chileshe is actively involved in charitable initiatives through the MBF ministry. Projects like the “Amakasa Project” aim to provide shoes for school-going children, while “Miracle Hands” supports widows and partners with orphanages to assist children living with HIV/AIDS and those with disabilities.
