Deborah Elizabeth Enewa Paul-Enenche Hawthorn, widely known as DeBee, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, lawyer, and creative director at Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC).
Born on March 28, 1995, in Abuja, Nigeria, she is the eldest child of Dr. Paul and Dr. Becky Enenche, the founders of DIGC. Deborah pursued a law degree at Northumbria University in the UK and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2019 after completing her studies at the Nigerian Law School in Abuja.
In her musical career, Deborah has released several singles and albums that blend contemporary gospel with African rhythms. Notable works include the single “You Love Me” released on March 28, 2025, and the album Incontrovertible released in October 2023.
Beyond her musical endeavors, Deborah is known for her distinctive fashion sense and her commitment to faith-based initiatives.
She married Sam Hawthorn Uloko, a photographer and fellow member of DIGC, on December 17, 2022, and they welcomed their first child in December 2024.
