Affectionately known as “The Eagle,” Dunsin Oyekan is a highly revered Nigerian gospel artist, worship leader, and multi-instrumentalist whose ministry is marked by deep spiritual intensity and prophetic sound. Born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Kwara State, Dunsin is the only son of the late Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan, a respected General Overseer and worship leader of the ‘Spiritual Singers’—a legacy that deeply influenced his passion for worship.
Dunsin began playing the guitar at the age of 10 under his father’s mentorship. Though he studied Industrial Chemistry at the University of Ilorin, he fully embraced his call to worship ministry in 2014, birthing a movement that continues to shift spiritual atmospheres globally.
His discography includes spiritually charged albums such as:
-
Code Red (2016)
-
Kingdom Now (2019)
-
The Gospel of the Kingdom (2021)
-
The Great Commission (2024)
Dunsin is the voice behind soul-stirring worship anthems like “Breathe,” “Fragrance to Fire,” “Yah,” and “Imole De,” songs that have not only racked up millions of streams on Spotify and other platforms but also stirred deep encounters with the Holy Spirit.
A powerful revivalist at heart, Dunsin leads prophetic worship gatherings such as CODE RED, with the vision of awakening hearts and aligning nations to the sound of heaven. His ministry is focused on bringing people into deeper intimacy with God and catalyzing global revival through worship.
Despite facing personal tragedy—the loss of his wife Adedoyin Oyekan in 2019—Dunsin continues to serve God with unwavering faith, raising their two children and honoring his late wife’s memory through his music and dedication to the Kingdom.
