Evans Ogboi is a Nigerian-born gospel singer, songwriter, music producer, recording artist, and worship leader currently based in the United Kingdom. He served as Music Director for the Living Faith Connections Mass Choir in London and leads his own label, Simplicity Records, after training in audio engineering at SAE Institute, London. He released his debut album Miracle in 2007, followed by Songs From My Heart in 2014, and has since issued impactful singles like “This Is The Day” (2017), “Wonderful” (2018), and “Omewoya (He’s Done It)” (2019).
In 2025, his career continues to flourish with releases such as Sounds of Heaven, featuring singles like “ADONAI” and “Unexplainable” (a duet with his wife, Purist Ogboi). His live recordings and medleys, which blend traditional African motifs with contemporary worship, have gained traction across churches in Europe, Africa, and the diaspora, reinforcing his role as a bridge between grassroots Nigerian gospel and global worship movements
