KS Bloom, born Souleymane Kader Junior Kévin Koné on October 8, 1996, in Yopougon, Abidjan, Ivory Coast, is a prominent Ivorian gospel singer, rapper, and songwriter. Initially immersed in secular music, he experienced a transformative conversion in 2017, becoming an evangelical Christian and shifting his musical focus to gospel in 2018.
His debut album, Allumez la lumière (2021), propelled him to fame, featuring hits like “C’est Dieu” and “Enfant de Dieu,” which blend traditional Ivorian genres such as zouglou and coupé-décalé with contemporary gospel and Afrobeats rhythms.
KS Bloom’s music, characterized by its uplifting messages and energetic beats, has garnered significant acclaim, including the Best Gospel Artist award at the 2023 Trace Awards in Kigali, Rwanda.
