Labisi (birth name Olabisi Anuoluwapo Esther) is a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter originating from Ibadan, Oyo State. She rose to prominence as the winner of the 2023 Gospel Groove Talent Quest (GGTQ) organized by EeZee Conceptz, launching her into the spotlight in Nigeria’s gospel music scene.
A Theatre Arts student at the University of Ibadan, Labisi is also a crochet designer and graphic artist in development. Known for her culturally-infused soulful folk sound, her music often incorporates Yoruba dialect and traditional vocal textures, drawing comparisons to the style of Shola Allyson while maintaining her individual vocal identity. Since her debut post-GGTQ, she’s released notable singles like “Olodumare,” “Yahweh,” and “Ife,” earning praise for her depth, authenticity, and fresh contribution to contemporary gospel
