Puleng March is a multi-award-winning South African gospel singer, songwriter, and actress, celebrated for her powerful voice and inspirational music.
Born on September 25, 1978, in Kimberley, Northern Cape, she was raised by her mother, a pastor, which deeply influenced her spiritual and musical journey. Puleng began singing in church at a young age and accepted Christ at 13, marking the start of her commitment to gospel music.
Her career includes notable performances, such as playing the lead role of Nala in The Lion King production in Singapore and sharing the stage with gospel legend Kirk Franklin at Nelson Mandela’s memorial in 2013. Puleng was also a member of the renowned Joyous Celebration choir, where she honed her musical and industry skills.
As a solo artist, she has released two acclaimed albums: Marching On and Heaven’s Scroll, the latter featuring the popular “Ghana Medley”. Beyond music, Puleng is the founder of Makoti Enkosini, a movement aimed at empowering women through faith and community support .
