Rebekah Dawn Gituthu, professionally known as Rebekah Dawn, is an American-born, Kenyan-raised gospel singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and worship leader. Born in Centerville, Mississippi, USA, she moved to Kenya as a baby and has lived there for over 40 years, considering Kenya truly her home. Her parents were missionaries who planted Nairobi Lighthouse Church in 1987, where she has served in various capacities since 2005, now holding the position of Creative Arts Director. She also studied music ministry at Hillsong College in Sydney, Australia. Rebekah Dawn met her husband, Allan Gituthu, in 2013, and they were married at the end of 2015.
Rebekah Dawn’s music primarily falls under the Gospel, Christian Music, and Religious genres, often incorporating elements of Swahili Gospel due to her deep connection to Kenyan culture.
