Tedashii is the stage name of Tedashii Lavoy Anderson, an American Christian hip-hop artist born on March 8, 1977 in Lufkin, Texas. He’s a founding member of Reach Records and the influential 116 Clique, known for his deep, dynamic voice and powerful storytelling. Since launching his solo career in 2006, he has released several notable albums—Kingdom People, Identity Crisis, Blacklight, Below Paradise, Never Fold, and the Dead or Alive EP series—with his work consistently charting on Billboard Christian and Gospel lists.
Tedashii is signed to Reach Records, the label he helped shape alongside Lecrae and others. He and his wife Danielle live in Denton, Texas, and are parents to four sons. His fourth album, Below Paradise (2014), was a candid artistic response to the tragic death of their son in 2013, offering raw reflections on grief, faith, and hope—and it debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200.
