Fire outbreak under Eko-bridge and Apongbon market in Lagos

Sad one as plenty shops have been brought down in a fire outbreak at Apongbon market on Lagos Island.
The fire, which raged terribly, has caused a gridlock on the Eko bridge.
According to some sources, the incident happened around 7am, Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Unfortunately, the exact cause of the inferno is yet to be confirmed. Motorists have been urged to ply alternative route following the reports of the fire which gutted some vehicles under the Eko Bridge.
As of the time of making this report, the federal and Lagos fire services are at the scene of the incident, trying to put out the fire. Here’s a video clip of the event.
