6 Main reasons why most relationships fail

There are a thousand and one reasons why relationships fail. You’ll agree with me that money is one of the top reasons. However, there are other reasons you may not have noted.

One thing you must understand is that there are certain petty offences that turn out to influence their flaws when they go into some of these relationships.

Reasons why most relationships fail – Below are six common mistakes you make in your relationship

1: Falling Too Quickly

This is a recurrent mistake that takes a lot to correct. You’ve only known this person for one week and you’re already telling yourself that he or she is “the one.” Don’t be in a hurry to commit. Take your time. There may be chemistry and a connection, but your new partner may just see you as a short-term fling. Avoid falling too fast until you’re sure that your partner is as interested as you are.

2: Revealing Emotions Too Soon

When it comes to passionate declamations like, “I think I’m falling in love with you,” ponder them, don’t say them yet. The early stage of a relationship usually feels promising. “Share with your partner as much as they share with you and only if it feels right,” relationship expert Margaux Cassuto counsels.

3: Talking Yourself Out Of Concerns

Perhaps you thought how he or she checked out the server on your first date, or didn’t pick up the tab, or made an off-colour joke that didn’t sound right, was absurd—but all his or her charm, good looks, and intelligence make up for it, right? Wrong.

If your gut is picking up on little things, but you keep telling yourself a certain narrative about how you could be meant for each other, and how you’ll manage or change him or her, it may spell disaster along the lines.

4: Blowing Them Up Constantly

In this time, when you like someone, you always want to talk and hear from them as often as possible. But compulsive texting can be a huge turnoff early in dating, as it is smothering and can show obsession and a lack of self-control.

5: Getting Physical Too Soon

By all means, you can have sex whenever you want. But you must know that when sex is introduced early in a new relationship, it can hijack your emotions and cloud your judgment, explains relationship expert LaVonya Reeves. “I think a lot of people experience this. You start dating someone and begin a relationship that’s also sexual. But, if you’re not really connected beyond the sex, it can complicate the relationship too soon.”

6: Getting Nosy About Money

It’s okay to ask what he or she does for a living and how they like their job, but don’t go much further. When you start asking questions like, “Do you rent or own?,” “What kind of car do you drive?,” or, “Do you invest in the market?” They’re going to know you’re digging for financial info, which is something some people are private about and prefer to save for later. You don’t want to seem like a golddigger, do you?
