Natasha Anikina: Meet Kostya Tszyu’s ex-wife

On September 19, 1969, Konstantin Borisovich “Kostya” Tszyu was born. Former professional boxer Konstantin Tszyu, a Russian-Australian, competed from 1992 until 2005.

Between 2001 and 2005, Tszyu competed in matches for several light welterweight world championships, including the undisputed and lineal crowns.

Tszyu was a well-known boxer who was an all-around boxer-puncher who depended greatly on timing and accuracy as well as having strong striking power; he is frequently cited as one of the hardest-punching light-welterweights in the history of the weight class.


Tszyu made his international debut for the Soviet Union in 1989 and 1991, respectively, capturing gold in the light-welterweight division and the bronze medal in the lightweight division. Additionally, he won back-to-back gold medals in the European Championships in 1989 and 1991.

Natasha Anikina and Tszyu were wed on September 24, 1993. Tim, Nikita, and Anastasia are their three kids. Tim and Nikita are boxers at the moment. In 2008, Tzyu’s family first relocated to Moscow; however, they eventually relocated to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Tszyu is currently married to Tatiana Averina, albeit there is no formal record of their divorce.
