Tana attended Treasure Land, Nursery and Primary School in Surulere while growing up in Lagos. She attended St. Francis Catholic Secondary School in Idimu, Lagos, for her secondary education. She attended the University of Lagos to study urban and regional planning.

Tana gained notoriety as an OAP after appearing in an MTN Y’Hello TV Show audition in 2002. She made her acting debut in the TV show Disclosure. In July 2013, she launched Tana Adelana Productions, her producing company. Ufuoma Ejenobor, Chelsea Eze, Wale Macaulay, Anthony Monjaro, Femi Jacobs, and a host of other attractive actors appear in one of her films, Quick Sand.
Uncensored with Tana, Tana’s television program, premiered in 2015. Among other well-known companies, she has collaborated with Channel O, MTN, Mnet, Coca-Cola, and Big Brother Africa. Additionally, she has appeared in a variety of films, including The Kingdom, Glass Slippers, Champagne, Singe and Married, and many others.
