When will Abuja-Kaduna train resume operations?

The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has currently suspended the resumption of train services on the Abuja-Kaduna route.

This is due to the threats by members of the over 50 Nigerians kidnapped by terrorists during the March 28 train attack who promised to takeover the train tracks if the Federal government resumes the train services without securing the release of their loved ones.

The Nigeria Rail Corporation immediately suspended train resumption on the route. But last week, the cooperation announced that it will resume services on May 23rd, a condition that did not go down well with the victims’ families who threatened to disrupt operations.

What date will Abuja-Kaduna train resume operations

In a statement released by NRC’s spokesman, Yakub Mahmood, on Friday, May 20, the agency said a new date would be announced soonest.
