Without a doubt, Chloe Kim is referred to as the “Queen of Snowboarding.” She is one of the youngest athletes to win a gold medal in the Women Snowboard Olympics, and at 17 she is also the youngest person to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Chloe Kim was once dubbed the “Future of Women’s Snowboarding,” but after her incredible performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics, she is now known as the “Current Superstar.“
And why not? The young snowboarder already holds numerous records! Chloe Kim appears to be destined to dominate the sport in the near future after winning four gold medals at the Winter X Games and one gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Her never-say-die attitude is what strikes me as astonishing.
Don’t be fooled by Chloe Kim’s cheery demeanor and wide smile; beneath it all lies a determined competitor who has worked really hard, devoted herself to her craft, and persevered over the years to become the best in the business. As of right now, she is the first competitor in X Games history to win three gold medals before turning 16 years old. At the U.S. Grand Prix in Park City, Kim made history by landing back-to-back 1080 spins and earning a perfect score of 100.
