Joseph Omo Ebhodaghe, widely known by his stage name Joe Praize, is a prominent Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and a celebrated praise and worship leader. Born on June 20, 1979, in Edo State, Nigeria, he has become one of Africa’s most recognized gospel artists.
Joe Praize rose to significant popularity following the release of his hit song “Mighty God” from his debut album, My Praise. He serves as a praise and worship leader at the LoveWorld Ministry (Christ Embassy), a platform that has enabled him to take his music ministry globally. He has ministered in numerous countries across the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and South Africa.
His musical style primarily falls within the Gospel, Praise and Worship, and Soul genres. He has released several albums over the years, including My Praise, Most High, All the Praise, and The Assignment. His career, which began in 2005, has earned him several accolades, including the Best West Africa award at the Africa Gospel Music Awards UK and Worship Song of the Year at the Love World Awards.
