Limoblaze, born Samuel Onwubiko on October 25, 1995, in Abia State, Nigeria, is a Nigerian-born, UK-based gospel artist renowned for his fusion of Afrobeat, hip-hop, and gospel music. Raised in Makurdi, Benue State, he developed a passion for music early on, influenced by both secular and Christian artists.
He began his music career in 2012 as an independent artist, releasing his debut song “Memories” dedicated to his high school classmates.
Over the years, Limoblaze has collaborated with notable gospel artists such as Ada Ehi, Travis Greene, and Da’ T.R.U.T.H. In October 2022, he signed with the American Christian hip-hop label Reach Records, becoming their first international signee based outside the U.S. His hit single “Jireh (My Provider)” featuring Lecrae and Happi garnered international acclaim, charting on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs and the UK’s Official Charts. Limoblaze is married to Favour Emma-Imo since April 1, 2022.
