Willy González Cruz, universally known as Redimi2, is a highly influential Dominican Christian music rapper and songwriter. Born on June 3, 1979, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he holds the distinction of being the first rapper to release an album of Christian rap in his home country. He began his musical journey in 1999 as part of Redimi2 Squad with his brother JG, later adopting “Redimi2” as his stage name when other members departed. His music reflects his deep Christian devotion and has garnered him significant international recognition. Redimi2 has been married to Daliza Contreras since 2005, and they have a daughter named Samantha González.
