Sidney Mohede is a highly influential Indonesian worship leader, singer, songwriter, and pastor. Born on March 27, 1973, in Jakarta, Indonesia, he moved to Southern California as a child before returning to his birthplace. He is widely recognized as one of the most impactful figures in Christian music across Indonesia and Asia. Sidney Mohede is married to Beatrix Margaretha Tumewu, also known as Etha, and they have three children: Ethan, Chelsea Faye, and Charis. He serves as a Network Pastor and Creative Producer for JPCC Worship (Jakarta Praise Community Church Worship), where he also leads worship and writes songs for the collective.
Mohede’s musical journey began with the band Giving My Best / GMB (1996-2008) and as a worship leader in True Worshippers (1999-current). His music spans Gospel, Christian Worship, Hip Hop, Rock, and Pop genres, characterized by a distinctive style that blends modern Christian music with classic gospel sounds.
