DOE, born Dominique Jones on June 27, 1988, in Yakima, Washington, is an American gospel singer and songwriter. Raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, she grew up in a musical family and began her career as a member of the Grammy-nominated family group Forever Jones.
In 2016, she launched her solo career, releasing her debut single “Give Thanks.” She gained further recognition with her 2020 self-titled EP and the 2022 full-length album Clarity, which featured the hit single “When I Pray.” DOE’s music blends contemporary gospel with soul and R&B influences, and she is signed to Life Room Label in partnership with RCA Inspiration.
Her contributions to gospel music have earned her multiple Grammy nominations, and in 2025, she won the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Heart of a Human. Beyond her music career, DOE married Orlando Palmer in August 2023, and they welcomed their first child, a son named Shiloh, in late 2024.
