Everton Mlalazi, born on May 22, 1982, in Harare, Zimbabwe, is a renowned gospel singer and songwriter celebrated for his uplifting and spiritually resonant music.
Raised in Bulawayo, he began his musical journey in 2014 by founding The Vine Music Ministry, a gospel ensemble that gained significant acclaim. In 2020, Mlalazi embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album In The Presence 1 in 2021, followed by In The Presence 2 in 2023.
His music, characterized by themes of hope and faith, has led to collaborations with prominent artists like Bishop Benjamin Dube and Xolly Mncwango. Notably, his single “Nomakunje,” featuring the Grammy-winning group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, garnered international attention.
