Jeffson Odiete Avwerosuo, known professionally as Jeffson Odiete, is a rising Nigerian gospel music artist, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and worship leader based in Abuja, Nigeria. Beyond his musical endeavors, he is the founder of the Jeffson’s Foundation, a non-governmental organization dedicated to humanitarian activities for the less-privileged in Nigeria. He is also recognized as the first Shift Ambassador for the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 10, and has a background in health sciences, having worked with the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) medical hospital and holding professional certificates in various healthcare fields. He is currently a student at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Nigeria.
Jeffson Odiete’s music primarily falls under the Gospel and Contemporary Gospel genres, often infused with Afrogospel elements. He is celebrated for his powerful worship ministrations and his ability to craft songs that stir hearts and awaken faith. He has released several hit singles, including “Olorun lese” (a remake of Deitrick Haddon’s “He’s Able”), “I Like It (I Don’t Know What the Father is Doing to Me),” “Something New” (released July 24, 2025), and “Greatest Asset – EP.” He has collaborated with notable gospel artists such as Kenny K’ore, Kingsley, Big Bolaji, and Dunsin Oyekan. Jeffson Odiete also convenes “The Closet,” a monthly worship gathering.
