Peterson Okopi (born August 8, 1997) is a Nigerian gospel recording artist, songwriter, and music minister originally from Otukpo, Benue State, and based in Lagos. Raised on the Nigerian Air Force Base in Ikeja, Lagos—where his father served—Peterson discovered his musical gift early, joining his church’s junior choir at age seven and blossoming into a soloist by adolescence. He holds an Ordinary National Diploma in English from Yaba College of Technology and is currently pursuing a B.Sc in Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria.
Signed to TWC Records, Peterson is known for impactful tracks like Amazing God, Baba, Up to Something, and Oga Eme. His debut album, ÒSÚBÀ, released in May 2021, has further established his reputation as a vessel of worship. He has ministered on major platforms such as RCCG’s MMPRAISE, COZA, and Reflection Concert, sharing stages with leading gospel figures including Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, and Victoria Orenze. Recognized for his passionate delivery and uplifting music, Peterson was named Discovery Artiste of the Year at the CLIMA Africa Awards in 2021
