Prosper Nkomezi is a prominent Rwandan gospel musician, singer, and songwriter. Born in 1995, he is a rising star in the East African gospel music scene, and his nationality is Rwandan.
He cultivated his love for music from a young age, reportedly breaking a jar to put a radio inside so he could listen to music – a testament to his early passion. Raised in a Christian family, he spent much of his childhood learning to play the piano, which laid the foundation for his musical journey. He is also known as a follower of Zion Temple Church of Apôtre Dr. Paul Gitwaza, where he was baptized in 2013.
Prosper Nkomezi officially launched his solo music career in 2017, gaining significant popularity with his hit song “Sinzahwema” (also known as “Amamara”). Since then, he has released several other beloved songs including “Humura,” “Nzayivuga,” “Urarinzwe,” and “Ibasha Gukora.”
He has also released multiple albums, with “Nzakingura” and “Nyigisha” being two of his more recent projects.
