Ryan Ofei is a Ghanaian-Canadian worship leader, singer, and songwriter known for his dynamic fusion of gospel, R&B, Afrobeat, and contemporary worship.
Born in the UK and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, he began singing at age six and later became active in his university’s campus ministry, where he started writing and performing faith-based music. In 2021, Ofei joined the GRAMMY-winning collective Maverick City Music, contributing to albums like Jubilee and Jubilee: Juneteenth Edition, and touring internationally.
His solo debut album, Restore, released in 2024, earned him the Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year at the 2025 JUNO Awards. Ofei’s music, including tracks like “Abba” and “Daily,” reflects his multicultural background and commitment to authentic worship, resonating with diverse audiences worldwide.
