Tasha Cobbs Leonard, born Natasha Tameika Cobbs on July 7, 1981, in Jesup, Georgia, is a Grammy Award-winning gospel singer, songwriter, and pastor renowned for her powerful vocals and impactful worship music. She gained widespread recognition with her 2013 debut EP Grace, featuring the platinum-certified hit “Break Every Chain” . Over the years, she has released several successful albums, including One Place Live (2015), Heart. Passion. Pursuit. (2017), and Royalty: Live at the Ryman (2020).
Cobbs Leonard has been honored with numerous accolades, such as 15 Stellar Awards, 3 Billboard Music Awards, and 9 Dove Awards.
In addition to her music career, she co-pastors The Purpose Place Church in South Carolina with her husband, Kenneth Leonard, whom she married in 2017 . She is signed to Motown Gospel and also leads her own imprint, TeeLee Records, focusing on nurturing emerging worship artists.
