A few months before I had even heard about dropshipping, a very close friend of mine made the decision to launch his own online business. He began to describe the numbers he was making as a prosperous e-commerce business owner, which inspired me to attempt to take advantage of the chance myself.
I essentially did nothing more than make a Shopify account, set up my store, and add a few drop-shipped items. I tried to learn by doing rather than reading or conducting research a lot. Over the years, I have played with Facebook advertising, but I never actually “tried” it until recently. I can’t live without it any longer!
The hardest thing for me was really starting to run Facebook advertising. I’ve read countless blog posts and listened to countless webinars over the years, but until I started dropshipping, I never truly focused on Facebook ads.
This time, I told myself that I needed to alter my perspective if I wanted to manage a successful e-commerce business, and within a few months, I felt like a completely different person. This, in my opinion, is the main factor behind my success with Facebook advertising for e-commerce. I’m so happy I persisted.
Facebook is great because the targeting is super awesome. It just takes time to crack the code so your earnings cover the advertising costs. Once you understand how Facebook ads work, you’ll have a great chance to achieve e-commerce success.
E-commerce Success Stories – What keeps you motivated as an e-commerce entrepreneur? Why did you want to achieve e-commerce success so badly?
My wife serves as my inspiration; without her, I wouldn’t be doing what I am. I use a very practical approach to generating a living. I don’t want flashy houses or expensive automobiles; I just want to be able to support my wife and kids without having to worry about money.
As an e-commerce entrepreneur, what is your sales-per-day record as a successful e-commerce business?
I achieved the record, which was almost $30,000 in a single day while scaling a popular product. Currently, my daily earnings are around $10,000, but I’m hoping to quickly increase them.
Highs and lows are given. After discovering a target market that adores your product, you finally reach them all and must hunt for a new market or present them with a different product. That search takes time and affects revenue, especially in small enterprises.
There is always space for improvement, therefore it’s critical that you keep testing and refining your campaigns if you want to run a successful online store.
If you started all over again, what would you do differently as an e-commerce entrepreneur?
As soon as you can, put dropshipping procedures into place. Typically, you should begin considering them as soon as your product idea has been validated and a few sales have been made.

Yes, there is an opportunity. I regret not doing this sooner since there would have been much less competition, I would have made a lot more money, and I could have established myself in other markets if I had begun even a year earlier.
Overall though, there are still lots of opportunities; you just need to use your marketing skills a little more inventively.
