Ifeoma Amuche, a young Nigerian woman, has been named the top graduating student at South West University in Chongqing, China.
Amuche was picked to make a speech on behalf of all international students after being chosen as the best out of over 9,500 pupils.
On Thursday, the young graduate announced this on Twitter, dedicating her victory to Nigeria and her hometown of Oko.
“I was the only international student chosen out of 9500+ graduates to give a speech on behalf of all graduates; I’m so honored.”
“I’m here for Nigeria and my hometown Oko,” she tweeted.
In response to Amuche’s accomplishment, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) stated that Nigerians bore signs of success all over the world.
