Joyce Oyedepo is the last child of Living Faith Church Worldwide’s founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, and Pastor (Mrs) Faith Oyedepo. David, Isaac, and Love are his three older siblings from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She, like her parents, is a Christian book author.

Joyce (sometimes stylized as ‘Joys’) Priscilla Oyedepo is the second daughter and last child of one of Nigeria’s charismatic leaders, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder and general overseer of the Living Faith Church (popularly known as Winners Chapel), and his wife, Pastor (Mrs) Faith Abiola Oyedepo.

Following her attendance at Faith Academy, a school run by her parents. While in high school, she created a gospel music group with a couple of her classmates and performed at several gospel performances.

She also sang in the church chorus at her parents’ church before moving to the United States to study at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is a Christian author who has written several Christian books released internationally, including “Walking with God”, “The Real You” and “Growing in Faith”.

She is the founder and team leader of Women of the God Kind, a non-profit organization that she founded on October 18, 2015.

Women of the God Kind’s mission is to raise women to have a closer closeness with Jesus through regular workshops, bible studies, online resources, and free women-only yearly conventions that are unrelated to her father’s ministry.

She also frequently ministers at conventions and women’s conferences hosted by ministries other than Winners Chapel.

Joys Oyedepo married Abimbola Abodunrin on August 22, 2002, at a religious event held at the Covenant University Chapel in Ota, Ogun State.

Joyce shares a striking resemblance with her mother, Faith Oyedepo. Since getting married to David Oyedepo in 1982, a year after he started Winners Chapel, and has since worked in the ministry, helping to build and nurture it while also taking time to write several books in the areas of women empowerment, youth, family, and marital success.

She is a Senior Pastor at Winners Chapel and Vice President (Education) of Living Faith Church Worldwide.

Joyce is the youngest of three siblings. Her eldest brother, David Oyedepo (Jnr), is a pastor at Faith Tabernacle, the Otta headquarters of Winners Chapel, after being consecrated a minister in May 2007 by renowned America preacher Kenneth Copeland.

Isaac, her second elder brother, was also anointed as a pastor in May 2007 by Kenneth Copeland and is the pastor in charge of Living Faith Church in Abuja after serving as a resident pastor at Winners Chapel International in South Africa.

Love Jesutomi Oyedepo-Ogah, her only sister heads the Covenant University Consultancy Services. Joyce seems to share a special bond with her only elder sister, Love Jesutomi Oyedepo-Ogah as evident in the way they celebrate themselves on social media, including identifying as each other best friends.

Joyce married her husband on her parents’ 38th wedding anniversary, maybe as a continuation of their shared birthday. The wedding was strictly by invitation only, with numerous officials and celebrities in attendance to witness the union.
