11-year-old Alfonso, Don Quixote’s heir, and his 3 imaginary and musical rabbits join Pancho and Victoria to save their beloved city of La Mancha from a huge storm. References E.T. (1982). It’s a different movie to watch with the family. It has a nice message and a lot of humor, the rabbits are great! Cute characters, great art design and photography. It has a handmade look that makes it look similar to Laika projects but brighter. Sometimes the editing is a bit fast but maybe that’s appropriate for the current times. We were surprised by the quality of the animation, especially for an independent film. It reminded me of The Goonies or Stand by me. It has a lot of cinematic references, we liked it a lot. The ending is very emotional and the story in general had us talking a lot as a family after the movie.
