BET Awards 2023 Winners: Full List of Winners at BET Awards 2023

At the 2023 BET Awards on Sunday, SZA and Beyoncé shared the Album of the Year Award and each took home three other victories.

The honors for the year\’s top performances in music, television, cinema, and sports were presented live from Los Angeles\’ Microsoft Theater. At the 50th anniversary celebration this year, Busta Rhymes was given the Lifetime Achievement Award.

While performing on stage in honor of Tina Turner, Patti LaBelle appeared to forget the lyrics to \”Simply the Best.\”

For \”Kill Bill,\” SZA also took home awards for best female R&B/pop Artist and Video of the Year, while Beyonce\’s \”Break My Soul\” earned the Viewers\’ Choice Award and the BET Her Award.

Another tie occurred today, with Chris Brown and Usher sharing the Male R&B/Pop Artist award.

In the film category, Disney/Marvel\’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever won Best Movie, with Angela Bassett winning Best Actress. Damson Idris was named Best Actor.

Drake took home two awards tonight after he and GloRilla received the most nominations with seven each.

Some of the night\’s highlights were Offset and Quavo reuniting to pay tribute to late Migos member Takeoff. Muni Long also took the time to recognize the value of writers in the midst of the WGA strike.
