Story
Joseon’s king is Lee Heon. His lovely wife died seven years ago, when he was a crown prince. He has not recovered from her death to this day.
For the past seven years, the royal family and government officials have unsuccessfully attempted to remarry King Lee Heon.
The country has also enacted a geumhonryung edict, which prohibits all unmarried women from marrying during this period while the king has not married. People are outraged by the marriage prohibition.

One day, King Lee Heon learns of a woman by the name of Ye So Rang who says the king’s late wife’s soul dwells in the palace.

To survive, Ye So Rang acts like her body is possessed by the king’s late wife. Ye So Rang’s lies get bigger and more audacious.
