The production organization for the TV program revealed Tuesday that the world’s shortest man passed away in Italy, where he was scheduled to appear in a show.
He Pingping, a Chinese man who stood 2 feet, 5.37 inches (74.6 centimeters) tall, was well-known around the world for participating in events including photo shoots, shows, and other activities, according to Guinness World Records.

Once the paperwork is ready, the man’s body will shortly be flown to China, according to Fernandez de Araoz.
