His Drive and Motivation

The Lagos-based young screenwriter from Amuru Abam is well experienced and versatile in literary works of fiction and nonfiction and has recorded successes in his literary works as

some of his creative content and stories have been turned from scripts to screens by some notable production houses and movie channels in Africa.

K. N. Peter, having lived in Lagos for some years and being conversant with some of its’ lifestyles, is inspired to write stories about Lagos, among which is “Lagos City,” a romantic comedy depicting a young man in his 30s who has never been to Lagos but has always had the mentality that Lagos is a city where everyone comes and makes it.

But on his arrival in Lagos, he gets discouraged as his speculations about Lagos aren’t really true.

His further experience in Lagos also inspired him to write “Lagos on Fire,” another romantic comedy that centers on Half naked fashion that has become the norm and trending fashion in all streets of Lagos, as many ladies believe that until they are dressed in such a manner, they are yet to arrive in Lagos City.

This moves from youths to even teenagers, who have to emulate their older ones. Furthermore, “Zero Wives,” a story that depicts the fake lives displayed by some Lagos acclaimed wealthy men and Classy babes, and many other stories.

He said these stories would be the best of their kind as soon as they were pitched out to filmmakers and finally produced. Most of his successes today as a writer are due to the fact that he learned from the best, is still learning from them, and is always willing to learn, as no knowledge is wasted.

He has also made Google his friend, as well as visiting libraries, reading, and reviewing books by other professional writers, and attending online screenwriting/writing classes.

His aim has been to discover, expose, educate, and proffer solutions to most of the problems facing society today through his stories. With this, we can boldly say he is not just a writer but a successful, versatile, and creative one.
