Oluremi Tinubu is an Ogun State native who was born on September 21, 1960. The final of twelve children, Oluremi, spent her early years in her native state of Ogun, where she also completed her elementary and secondary education.

Oluremi enrolled in the West African Senior Senior Certificate Examination at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State in 1979, after completing her basic education, and receiving her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

Oluremi received a National Certificate of Education in Botany and Zoology in 1982 from the Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo City, Ondo State.

“I can tell you that we never believed that this could happen, but we thank God for giving us hope.
