Oluremi Tinubu is an Ogun State native who was born on September 21, 1960. The final of twelve children, Oluremi, spent her early years in her native state of Ogun, where she also completed her elementary and secondary education.

Oluremi enrolled in the West African Senior Senior Certificate Examination at Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State in 1979, after completing her basic education, and receiving her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

Oluremi received a National Certificate of Education in Botany and Zoology in 1982 from the Adeyemi College of Education in Ondo City, Ondo State.

Oluremi, a senator representing the Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, also insisted that her husband is 71 years old. She expressed her thanks to God for her husband’s victory in the presidential election on February 25.

“I can tell you that we never believed that this could happen, but we thank God for giving us hope.

“Asiwaju is 71; I will be 63. I bet I will be one of the oldest first ladies Nigeria has had. We need the grace of God, and everyone is expected to do what they are expected to do.

“Today, God has really proved himself, as he did on the night of the primaries, and put his seal on it. It is a time for perfection in Nigeria,” she said.
