Hulu’s ‘Betrayal: The Perfect Husband,’ inspired by season 1 of the podcast ‘Betrayal,’ can only be characterized as a first-hand story of television producer Jennifer Faison’s real-life fairytale gone horribly wrong.
After all, it’s where she actually opens up about her husband, Spencer Herron, who lead a double life for years – one as a loving partner, an educator, and a sexual predator.

Who is Jenifer Faison?
Jenifer originally met Spencer while completing her Bachelor’s degree in Communications at Berry College in Georgia, and they instantly fell head over heels in love.

However, because he was a year her senior, she opted to end things when he graduated because she didn’t want to limit herself, only to reconnect almost two decades later thanks to Facebook.
That’s when the hopeless romantic and renowned producer thought she’d finally discovered the perfect man, prompting her to marry him after a brief but memorable romance.
When Jenifer was pursuing her Bachelor’s in Communications at Berry College in Georgia, Spencer was the first person she met; nonetheless, they fell in love very quickly.
He was a year older than she was, so she decided to break things off once he graduated since she didn’t want to ever hold herself back. They reconnected almost 20 years later on Facebook, though.
The famous producer and hopeless romantic truly believed she had finally found the right man at that point, leading her to be married to him after a brief but cherished engagement.
It turned out that Spencer had frequently sexually assaulted a pupil, which Jenifer had a hard time understanding until she learned about his philandering, which included affairs that started the week before their wedding.

Where is Jenifer Faison Now?
Spence was the last person I ever would have suspected would have exploited a child, and I believe everyone who knew him would have said the same thing, according to a statement made by Jenifer Faison in a press release for the “Betrayal” podcast.
Is it possible that the man I loved was a sexual predator? That afternoon, it dawned on me that my life as I had known it would never be the same. That was my last encounter with him because the future we had imagined was no longer possible.
In other words, she and Spencer got divorced in 2019, but it also took her some time to recover from the destruction he inflicted.
So far as we know, Jenifer is still a resident of Acworth, Georgia, where she happily works as an Executive Producer for Glass Entertainment Group, the organization that created the podcast.
She actually, predictably, likes to keep her personal life out of the public eye these days, but we do know that she continues to flourish in the entertainment industry and has previously worked at a number of well-known companies, including A+E, Big Table Media, and Bravo TV.
