America’s most famous Black Preacher, TD Jakes, hands the mantle to his daughter, who became pregnant at the age of 13. Sarah Jakes Roberts is the daughter of Bishop T.D. Jakes, an American megachurch pastor, bestselling author, and film producer, and Mrs. Serita Jakes, an author, media personality, and business leader.
Sarah fell pregnant at the age of 13 and was growing a baby at such a young age while her father presented a lecture about the merits of abstinence.
After four years of marriage, she revealed in 2018 that she is divorcing her linebacker husband, Robert Henson.

She had to drop out of college, work as a waitress at a strip club to support herself, marry at the age of 19, divorce at the age of 23, and be left with two children to care for.
Sarah Jakes Roberts published her first book, a memoir titled “Lost and Found: Finding Hope in the Detours of Life,” in April 2014, in which she presented her riveting narrative of survival and success after overcoming some of life’s most difficult hurdles.
Sarah motivated others all across the world to remain hopeful in the face of adversity by sharing her experience openly and honestly.
Sarah had a difficult life as a result of the decisions she made as an adolescent.
She went on to start the “woman evolve” ministry in order to reach out to women who were stuck in their previous mistakes and refused to move on, as she had done years before.
On September 25, 2022, her father stepped down from the pulpit and turned over the church ministry arm “woman evolve” to Sarah, who had been a lost and hopeless lady.
Sarah can teach us a few life lessons, particularly the phrase “women evolve.” Women are frequently the ones who hold themselves back as a result of one or two bad experiences in the past.
