Joyce Ijeoma, a Nigerian masseuse, has failed in her effort to break the Guinness World Record for the longest massage hours. Ms. Ijeoma had worked for more than 50 hours before collapsing.

The masseuse aimed to dethrone current longest-massage world record holder Alastair Galpin, who broke the record in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, with 25 hours and 4 minutes.
Hilda Effiong Bassey, also known as Hilda Baci, broke the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual) in June, with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes, according to Guinness World Records.
The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began on May 11 and worked until May 15, cooking almost 100 pots of meals in four days.
Hilda attempted to break the 100-hour mark.

However, almost seven hours were deducted from her final total because she mistakenly took extra minutes for one of her rest breaks early on in the attempt.
Although Ijeoma’s record will be a first, the Guinness World Record for the longest full-body massage was about 25 hours, 4 minutes.
A South African, Alastair Galpin, recognised as the second Guinness World Records breaker of the 2000s (2000-2009), set the record in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, in November 2015.
In the now-viral video seen, Ijeoma who has done over 36 hours, collapsed.
A video of the unfortunate incident posted on social media platforms, seen by SaharaReporters on Tuesday afternoon, saw a colleague of Ijeoma trying to help her through the ground while she struggled for balance.
The Instagram Live, which aired her activities, ended abruptly. No official statement or update about the incident has been issued by her team as of the time of filing this report.
