Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, was a deceased singer from Nigeria whose body was excavated for an examination.
The police, the Lagos state administration, and prominent Nigerians have all expressed interest in Mohbad’s mysterious death, which has not only triggered a number of talks but also brought great concern to the Nigerian music industry.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police, announced the news on Thursday on his X account.

A 13-person special investigation team was established by the Lagos State Police Command to look into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely death on Tuesday of last week, as LEADERSHIP has previously reported.
Mohbad Autopsy Result
Since the devastating death and burial of the well-known musical sensation Mohbad, one week has passed, and during that period, a number of important developments and events have taken place.
Undoubtedly, Mohbad’s passing and the revelations that followed have revealed truths in the Nigerian entertainment sector that haven’t been revealed in recent memory.
27-year-old Mohbad passed away on September 12 and was buried the following day in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

In another development, a Senator, Prince Ned Nwoko, while mourning the death of the Nigerian artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, has said that he hopes to introduce a “bill that will make it mandatory nationwide for an autopsy to be done within a specific time before anyone is buried.”
The federal politician expressed his sympathies on Tuesday by writing a post on Instagram with his wife, the actress Regina Daniels, saying, “The terrible and untimely death of Mohbad has raised several issues that should be addressed swiftly. It is not appropriate to speculate about the circumstances of his demise or the cause of death.
“The police and DSS should respond right away, but more significantly, the state government should direct the quick ordering of an autopsy report. Before he was buried, this need to have been completed and reported to the station for approval.
Is Mohbad Autopsy Result Out?
The Police have said the autopsy of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad, has been completed.
The Police made this known on its X (Twitter) page on Thursday night.
Recall that Lagos State Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, had earlier announced that Mohbad’s body was exhumed for autopsy.“
The Police wish to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr Mohbad has been successfully completed,” the Police wrote.“
Furthermore, the information will be provided as soon as the results are available,” it added.
