During her time at the University of Arizona, Cheryl Ann Pontrelli was involved in a catastrophic car accident in Tucson, Arizona, in 1973.

The late actress Lynn Noe was Cheryl’s mother. She hails from Louisville, Kentucky in the USA. The Mike Douglas Show (1961), the film that made Cheryl’s mother famous. Michael Landon, Mannie Baier, and Michael Angelo Pontrelli—Cheryl’s biological father—were all husbands of Lynn Noe.

According to IMDB, Cheryl Ann Pontrelli’s mother Noe passed away on November 26, 2015. The cause of her death was not made publicly known in great detail.

As was previously mentioned, Eugene Maurice Orowitz, better known by his stage name Michael Landon, was an American actor and director best known for his roles as Charles Ingalls in Little House on the Prairie and Little Joe Cartwright in Bonanza.

In the 1956 episode “The Mystery of Casper Hauser,” Landon made his television debut on the show Telephone Time. He appeared in more films after that.

Michael has three marriages. In 1956, he wed Dodie Levy-Fraser for the first time; they later divorced in 1962. Mark Fraser Landon, Dodie’s biological son, was adopted by Michael, and Josh Fraser Landon was also adopted.

He then wed Lynn Noe, the mother of Cheryl, in 1963, and they later divorced in 1982. They had seven kids. Cindy Clerico, a cosmetics artist on the Little House on the Prairie production, was his previous spouse. In 1983, they tied the knot and began a family with two kids.

Landon said that he was a strong drinker and a chain smoker. In a 1991 interview with The Associated Press, Michael stated, “I believe in God, I believe in family, I believe in truth between people, I believe in the power of love, I believe that we really are created in God’s image and that there is God in all of us.”

The Father of Cheryl Ann Pontrelli, Michael, experienced a bad headache on April 2, 1991, while enjoying a ski trip in Utah. Exocrine adenocarcinoma, an aggressive subtype of pancreatic cancer, was identified as the disease. At the age of 54, he passed away on July 1 in Malibu, California.

In Culver City, California’s Hillside Memorial Park Cemetery, he was laid to rest in a private family mausoleum. He grabbed life with joy, it says on his gravestone. He offered life far too freely. His legacy is one of love and fun.

In Malibu’s Bluffs Park, a community center has been dubbed “The Michael Landon Center” in the actor’s honor. Numerous performances have been held in Cheryl’s father and his family’s honor.
