The newest member of the Mavin Records Family is Adelabu Alexander popularly known as Magixx (born September 27, 1999).

While still a student at UNILAG, Magixx was involved in the campus music community and frequently went to events like parties, performances, and concerts. He never failed to demonstrate his musical creativity at these gatherings.
This helped him establish a tiny but devoted fanbase and made him a well-known figure in Unilag’s entertainment space.

He recorded a rendition of Burna Boy’s popular song Dangote in April 2019 and posted it to his Instagram account. Over 35,000 people watched the film after it became popular online. He is also known to have previously published freestyle renditions of well-known tunes.
On September 3, 2021, he released a cover of the song Sinner. The video gained over 43,000 views on Instagram, much like his prior covers did. Adekunle Gold was the singer of the original track.
On September 23, 2021, music executive Don Jazzy announced Magixx as the newest signee to Mavin Records. The day after learning of his signing, Magixx, who had been studying at Mavin Academy for months, released his first album, the Magixx EP.
As a Mavin Academy alum, Magixx met a distinguished set of people that includes Crayon, Ayra Starr, Ruger, Johnny Drille, and Rema.
The five-track EP by Magixx includes the tracks “Love Don’t Cost A Dime,” “Like A Movie,” “Pati,” “Gratitude,” and “Motivate Yourself.” Director K, one of the best in the business, shot the Love Don’t Cost A Dime music video’s graphics.
Within hours after being posted to YouTube, the film has received over 8.1k views. Sonia Kordi, a fashion model, appeared in the video, and Styled By Reus was given the contract to be the fashion stylist.

Magixx collaborated closely with Tega Oghenejobo (Chief Operating Officer), Rima Tahini, and Mavin Executives during the project’s pre-release stage (Director Of A&R).
He had to work with producers like Lomon Christopher, Randay, Kenny, Lex Luther, and Naked Beatz in order to give his listeners timeless music.
